Taipei!!!! Ok....this might not be the most signature picture of Taipei...but its the real deal !!!
This was a blessed trip and I have always wanted to go to Taiwan and would still want to go there again!!
Now, where should I start???
I HAD TO SPEND A LUMP SOME TO CHANGE MY TICKETS BECAUSE IT CLASHED WITH MY CONVOCATION!
| Airasia~This hot meal is really too small, even for someone who eats a little like me Japanese cuisine-taste 6.5/10-serving too small . |
Sounds very bad huh...my airaisa tickets just became 1000++ to Taipei.
But it was truly a blessing in disguise. The typhoon hit Taipei on my original flight date, which was a day before my convocation. and Praise the Lord I didn't need to be trapped in the typhoon, and end up in the Taoyuan Airport all day long with no comfy bed but cold hard airport floor.
God was truly so good to me. I couldn't be more grateful. Usually after the typhoon, it will be all rains and no sunshine but I was blessed with beautiful weather all through my trip.
Getting from Taoyuan airport to taipei city is really easy just follow the directions given in the airport and you can buy a bus ticket which is about 115 TWD to the city. (the last stopTaipei train station, which you can get to the train, MRT and the high speed rail). The ride is about one hour from the airport and after that you can get around taipei with the MRT. It is pretty easy, so no worries if you are in Taipei for the 1st time like me.
So I spent my 1st night having KFC in taiwan~ it was pretty different but nice. Our KFC in Malaysia is more salty . The egg tart they offer is so delicious, even Grace(my sis-picky eater) said it was nice. This is the 1st culture shock I have in Taipei, they need to get numbers like those we have in banks for KFC o.O!!! I was very lost when making the order >.<!! Anyways, I want to compliment the Taiwanese for being really environmental friendly, you are required to separate your food residues from your paper cups and plates and throw them separately.

The room is clean quite although the air con and bathroom look a bit old but they work perfectly. They provide fast and free wifi in the room along with toiletries. It is really a nice room to stay! The place is located opposite to the Fu Zhong MRT station(blue line) so it is super convenient and there are lots of shops like 7-11, Watson and much more shop you can shop in. Now I know why you can shop everywhere in Taiwan.
